Service dog vest – how to keep the patches on?
My great dane is currently in the process of training to become a therapy dog. She has a standard blue vest with the pockets on either side. My question is — what’s the best way to keep her “Ask to pet me, I’m friendly” and other patches on her vest? I’ve tried fabric glue, but they just peel off. I don’t want to sew them on, because I don’t want to sew her pockets closed. Is there a better glue than your basic craft-store fabric glue? Also, what can I do to clean off the glue that’s already on there, so her vest doesn’t look like a complete mess?

I agree with PawPrint, you should hand sew them on. You can sew them to the pocket area but not go all the way through the pocket to the vest. Or you can usually take them to your local dry cleaner and they can do the sewing for you if you tell them what you want. To sew a patch on should not cost you more than $10. They may even be able to remove the glue.
Or, you can try WD-40, Goo-gone, or rubbing alcohol. I would test a small place first, as you dont want to ruin the vest.
